8月1日(日曜日)2021

    猛暑の中、8月を迎えました。オリンピックも後半。コロナ禍という前代未聞の今回の開催です。日本を含む各国選手皆さん、関係者の方々、また大会を支えている多くのボランティアの方達、競技を終えて悲喜こもごも。どうか今大会が心に残る良き思い出となりますように。

    本日のイザナミランチの献立。鮭のホイル焼き、ポテト揚げ、焼き豚、茄子のカポナータ、夏野菜の南蛮漬け、高野豆腐鶏肉詰め、精進ずし、ビシソワーズ(じゃがいも冷製クリームスープ)でした。お昼時てんやわんやでお客様にはご迷惑をおかけしました。お待ち頂きありがとうございました。

    The transition into August happened on such hot days. The Tokyo Olympic games entered the second half. We have never experienced an Olympics during such a coronavirus crisis before. I wish that all athletes who have done successfully or unsuccessfully, related people and many volunteers who are supporting this event, will have wonderful memories of this Tokyo Olympics.
    
    By the way, I would like to introduce Izanami Lunch (Asahiya's special lunch which is served on the first Sunday of each month.): Grilled salmon in foil,fried potatoes, Char-siu pork, Caponata (Italian cooking of eggplant), Marinated of summer vegetables, boiled Koya Tofu which is stuffed with ground chicken, Shohjin zushi (vinegared rice with mixed vegetables, and vichyssoise (cold potato soup). I feel sorry for the customers because I took too much time to serve. I appreciate their patience.
