郊外のモールで友達と待ち合わせをして、ショッピングセンターの中に 新しくできたスーパーに入ってみました。二階まである大きなスーパー で、その広さと品数の多さに驚きました。日本食の食材やテイクアウト用 寿司なども、サラダバーはもちろん、色々な国の料理が食べられるフードコート、レストランもありました。面白いと思ったのは、一階と二階を カートと一緒に移動できるエスカレーターがあったことです。つまり、普通のエスカレーターと並んでカート用のエスカレーターがついているのです。何でもあって便利ですが広すぎて困ることもあります。友達と昼食を済ませた後一人で買い物をしようとカートを引いてギョーザの皮を探しましたが、どこにあるのか分からず、商品の整理をしていた店員に聞いたら、持っていたスマホで場所を確認してから、私をそこまで連れていってくれました。スーパーの中ですが結構な距離を歩きました。２ドルほどのギョーザの皮探しをするには広すぎるスーパーです。I met my friends at a mall in a suburb, and went into a new supermarket together which was very big with two stories inside of a shopping center. I was surprised by the huge space and large stock of goods. You can find foodstuff used in Japanese cooking, prepared sushi for taking out, salad bar, food court where you can have a variety of ethnic dishes, and a restaurant. In the supermarket, I was interested in an escalator for carts which ran parallel with a regular escalator for people. It is very convenient because you can find almost everything you want, but there are times when it is inconvenient to shop in such a supermarket. After our lunch meeting, I wanted to buy foodstuff for the dinner and tried to find a pack of dumpling skins. Since I couldn't find it by myself, I asked a shop person. She searched it with her smart phone and took me there. It was far to get there even though it was still inside the shop. I think it is too big to find two-dollar dumpling skins.
