掘ってまもなくで湿った土がついたままの筍をTさんからいただきました。お猿が顔を出した筍を上手に見つけて食べてしまうそうでヤられる前に起こさなければ、とご苦労な話も聞かせてくださいました。
筍と言えば、真っ先に思い浮かぶのは「筍ご飯」。ちょうど精米に行ったので米ぬかもGET。柔らかく下茹でできたところでさっそく筍ご飯を作りました。注文いただいたお弁当も今日は筍ご飯です。庭の山椒の葉も香りよく初物の筍。春の味覚が堪能できました。
Mr. T kindly gave me bamboo shoots which were with little wet soil because they were just after digging. He said that he needed to dig them up before wild monkeys found and ate them.
When I hear "bamboo shoots", " bamboo shoots rice" comes to my head first. Before cooking, I peeled the skin first, then boiled the bamboo shoots to make them soft. Cut them into the proper size and cooked with some seasoning and fried tofu. Beautiful bamboo shoots rice was made and I enjoyed it very much.
