高宮のふじせき医院の院長、藤関先生は高校の同級生ですが日本の古典芸能（歌舞伎、浄瑠璃、落語、講談etc.）や絵画、浮世絵、根付などにも造詣が深く、日本の風土の中で生み出された芸術の美しさや素晴らしさを折に触れ教えてくださっています。また藤関さんはニホンミツバチの採蜜歴も長くハチの生態に詳しいのはもちろんですが自然と共存する生物や植物にも常に温かな目をお持ちです。さて、その藤関さん収集の浮世絵の展示が高宮駅で始まっています。まずは三代歌川豊国の「木曽六十九駅 高宮」の紹介から。防犯上の理由で青山直樹さんの写真での鑑賞になっていますが、描かれている人物は歌舞伎「鶯塚」に登場する多賀の佐々木源太左衛門とのこと。モデルの役者については藤関さんの詳しい説明でよくわかりますが、多賀の佐々木といえば、敏満寺胡宮神社、清涼山不動院と繋がる佐々木氏ではないかと思い、家に帰ってネットで調べたら室町時代に近江の守護職として佐々木左衛門之尉（ささき・さえもんのじょう）の名前がありました。佐々木家は不動明王を守護本尊としその後も清涼山不動院の住職をつとめてきたそうです。このことから浮世絵で登場する多賀の侍、佐々木源太左衛門はこの一族であり背景の山と社は胡宮神社と御神体が宿る青龍山であると推測できます。藤関さん、如何でしょうか。浮世絵の横に藤関さんの詳しい解説が書いてありますが、ここにもコピーして載せておきます。
高宮宿を主題にした浮世絵はいくつかあります。ここでは三代豊国の描いたものを紹介します。三代歌川豊国の「木曽六十九駅 高宮」です。役者木曽街道とか役者見立六十九次とも呼ばれる揃いものの浮世絵の中の一つです。中央の人物は歌舞伎「鶯塚」に登場する多賀の佐々木源太左衛門。特徴的なわし鼻で鼻高幸四郎と呼ばれた五代目松本幸四郎に見立てて描いています。左の眉の上のホクロがそれを示しています。後景はそれぞれの宿場の風景と言われています。この絵の建物は多賀大社とは思われませんがどこなのでしょうね。

Y. Fujiseki who is the director of a clinic in Takamiya and my high school classmate, has profound knowledge of Japanese classical stage such as Kabuki, Joruri, Rakugo (traditional comic storytelling) and Koodan (traditional Japanese tales), etc. as well as painting, wood print and Netsuke (miniature carving attached to the end of a cord hanging from a pouch). I learn the beauty of those arts which were created with the aid of Japan's natural features from him. He also has been keeping Japanese honeybees for many years for their honey so he knows details about bees but he keeps warm feelings towards all of the native creatures which coexist with us. Well, today I would like to introduce that UKIYO-E (Japanese traditional painting) exhibition collected by Dr. Fujiseki is helding at Takamiya station. The first one he exhibited is ”Takamiya ーThe 69 Stations of Kiso Road " (actually the Sixty-nine stations of Nakasendo Road) by the third Toyokuni Utagawa. Because of security reasons, we can only appreciate a photo of the original. The painter drew Sasaki Gentazaemon who was a samurai in Taga and appeared in the story of "Uguisu-zuka" in Kabuki theatre. Dr. Fujiseki gave a detailed explanation about the Kabuki actor who was popular at that time and played the role of this samurai. I was curious to learn more about the backstory of the drawing which Dr. Fujiseki wondered as well. I researched the relationship of the person and my area by web at home and found out that Sasaki Gentazaemon was a member of the Sasaki family who had been guarding Ohmi and placed as a chief priest of Konomiya Shrine. Therefore, Konomiya Shrine and the sacred mountain were drawn behind the person.
